Today I once again got one of these messages from a seller saying "I won't give you any feedback until I have received mine". I'm getting a bit fed up with this blackmailing, especially since I as a buyer always fulfilll my part of the deal (the payment) first, and in blind faith, while the sellers only fulfill theirs after getting the payment. I had one seller even giving me a 0% feedback until I had delivered mine!
Besides, many sellers apparently send these blackmail messages routinely without checking whether the buyer is likely to give feedback or not. If sellers really care, it is easy enough to check the number of feedbacks given versus received from their buyers before sending the blackmail messages.
To all you sellers, please get this: The number of positive feedbacks isn't very important. The only thing that matters is not to get negative feedback - because while a satisfied customer might not give feedback, a dissatisfied customer always will. If you don't get feedback from a percentage of your satisfied customers it's nothing to worry about. Beyond a certain level, which to me is less than a hundred, the number of positive feedbacks doesn't matter. For me as a buyer it doesn't matter whether you have 100 or 1000 or 10000 positive feedbacks. It's only the negative that count!
This feedback blackmailing seems to be a particular Delcampe bad attitude. I don't think I have ever seen it on "the other big auction site".
Sellers, please stop the blackmailing - nobody gets happier from it!

i agree. a seller should give a good feedback upon payment. that is my policy and i have always done this, unless i forgot, which ain't too hard at my age. also, i would like the some or equal feedback if the customer is satisfied with my goods for 2 good reasons. 1st, to show they have received the items, and 2nd, to show that i am an honest seller. of course, we can't be held responsible for damaged or lost items in the mail, even registered or insured items can get lost or stolen. i know as i am retired from the usps, and have seen this happen many times. but this feedback problem is not unique to delcampe, and i can also attest to that. it does happen on other sites as well. but perhaps sebastien can be the first to help create a better system.
