hi y'all,
well, do you believe in the omen? not me, but this morning around 2:30 am, my wife and daughters might have. the power went off in the house. and in florida in the middle of summer with the air conditioning not working, that ain't good. we have fans in every room to help circulate the cool air and so nothing was working, and it was dark. fortunately, the night air was cooler than the air in the house, so we just opened the windows. and as i did, i commented to the ol' lady and my one daughter about 6-6-6 as i knew what day it was. . of course my daughter was pissed off because she had to get up early for a new job and was not amused, especially after calling the power company and being told it would be over 4 hours before the electricity would be returned. . fortunately, the power was returned by 4:30 am and we were able to return to a more restfull sleep. my daughter was up early to go to work but i'm sure she has a tale of woe to share with her new boss . i should her told her to blame it on 6-6-6.

by the way, our local major league baseball team, the tampa bay DEVIL RAYS, takes on the los angelos ANGELS tonight in ST. PETERSBURG, florida. oh boy, are we in for it. hope my power doesn't go off again. . y'all take care. halloween was never like this.
