my cousin doyle got this picture from his son in louisiana and forwarded to me by email. ville-platte is a small city in in southern louisiana and noted for all the sugar cane plantations in the area. so two of the local high school students decided to wear some unique dress clothes to their high school prom dance. note the corsage and his boutinere, both made from sugar cane. is this sweet or not? . only in the cajun's home. come to louisianna and see for yourself, and eat a little cane too. it is a very sweet and all natural treat.
