Almost never seen intact, I got this in central Bulgaria near Veliko Turnovo, a rare treat as a great exampre of 19th C primitive folk art in the Balkan hill regions, similar in many ways to AmerIndian clay art of the same period.

Almost 11" tall, the brown base may have been touhced up as there is a glossy sheen to part and a roughness (shown in the frontal view), but not a crack or fissure. Very rare indeed
